Hong Leong Foundation This foundation was established in 1980 by the Hong Leong Group. It has made major contributions to charities and cultural organizations, including the National Kidney Foundation and the National Arts Council. Major donations have included a $2.8 million gift to the Asian Civilsations Museum, which named a gallery in honour of Hong Leong’s founder, Kwek Hong Png. In 2005, the foundation was named a Friend of the Arts.
