Order of Temasek One of the National Day Honours, the Order of Temasek was instituted in 1962 with three grades: First Class, consisting of the Badge (worn on a sash) and the Star of the Order; Second Class, consisting of the Badge (worn around the neck) and the Star of the Order; and Third Class, consisting of the Badge of the Order (worn around the neck). Only Singapore citizens can be admitted into this order. Non- citizens may, in special cases, be admitted in an honorary capacity.
